Airport

Taniti is served by a small airport that can accommodate small jets and propeller planes. Taniti is in the process of expanding the airport so larger jets will be able to land on the island within the next few years.

Getting Around

Walk

Taniti City is fairly flat and very walkable. Many tourists stay in the area surrounding Merriton Landing: this area is easy to explore on foot.

Bicycle

Cost: $10 per hour

Using a bicycle is not a bad choice. Bikes and helmets are available to rent from several vendors helmets are required by law.

Hotel shuttle

Cost: Free

Your Hotel may provide a shuttle for going to the mountains and the rainforest.

Bus

Cost: $20 per person

The bus only goes to the mountains and the rainforest. For in city travel using a public transport will be best.

Car Share

Cost: $4 per hour
